^ I got to that part of the article, and went straight to Rocky Mountain's website -> Bikes -> Gravity and Freeride. Yup, case closed. Now instead of finishing this article, I'm going to go ride my "freeride labeled and promoted mountain bike" off a ladder bridge in the woods.

Hmm. Roach meant the raddest riding T's I've ever owned (Still got 'em). But it also meant velcro ripping off of 3 consecutive pairs of hard-shell knee/shin pads after 6-8 months of riding, followed by a switch to equivalent MEC and Mace products that have lasted for years.
Regardless of whether gold is an essential resource, aren't there more environmentally friendly ways of extracting it than open pit mining?
